What’s up – I’m Fat Cat. E-Mini S&P Futures Scalper
My name is Fat Cat and I have nearly a decade of experience trading ES E-mini futures using order flow and price action techniques, specializing in scalping. Professional trading is like waging war on two fronts at once. I focus a lot on the psychological aspect of trading using tools like hypnotherapy – something I’m a certified in. I’ve used these techniques to cultivate other traders, one of my students is named Chronik. You can see his journey here. I’m also the founder of Trade Craft, which is the ultimate trade statistics platform, as I believe trade tag data is the best way to enhance one’s trading quickly. Be sure to check out my blog as I write in depth articles on every aspect of trading, psychology, gathering statistics, order flow and so much more. You can also see every trading session and trade review when you sign up as a member.

You get to see the best of the best trades as well as losers, and how he manages himself with these. What’s Fat Cat’s Trading style?
Fat Cat trades the ES E-mini S&P 500 futures, exclusively focusing on price action and orderflow. The orderflow is a combination of depth of market and reading Cumulative Delta. Fat Cat uses the delta, DOM, and price action to create narratives during the session. His style is mostly pure scaling, with trades averaging well under 1 minute. However, there are occasional larger holds if the narrative is fit.
What’s included in the ‘All Access’ Membership?

What is TradeCraft?
TradeCraft is a trade tagging software, focused on helping traders find edge through deep statistical analysis. Fat Cat found edge through the tagging process and was not satisfied with how shallow the tagging analysis went in other journals. TradeCraft allows you to build trade systems through CheckMate, which is the only system builder on the market, as well as speed up the review process through a faster tagging process and having the software auto time stamp video recordings for you. TradeCraft allows you to also build more efficient playbooks, where you can quickly watch and review your best trades. This tool is a must for improving as a trader and it fits Fat Cat’s vision to make the process as quick as possible, as well as the ability to extract the most information.

Member Testimonials
Please keep in mind that I'm not a full-time trader and do not pay my bills via trading. I want to one day. I just try to model @Fat Cat with very few differences. I think I put more emphasis on what's happening on the 30-minute than he does but he is FAR better at adjusting to conditions on the micro timeframe than I am. His ability to instantly wipe the narrative and reset is a huge edge IMO. If you're into consuming tons of information and you have time, I would sit in FC's streams and listen to him narrate what's happening. If you don't have time, sign-up for a membership and watch his trade narration and daily report card videos and his YouTube videos. Start with "How I make trading decisions". When he refers to another of his videos, pause, watch that video, then come back. If you don't want to consume lots of info, then one approach I have is to simply wait until price gets to a 30-minute level (like one end of a range), see what kind of structure forms there on the 30-second, then take a trade based on that. e.g. sequence: price reaches top of 30M range, forms a slip range on the micro timeframe, starts channeling up, channel breaks down, price slips up, get short. The mental pain with this approach is that sometimes, price doesn't even bother forming any kind of structure and that's when it tests your FOMO. I personally still struggle with key weaknesses:
- getting fixated on an idea,
- not waiting for micro structure to form after a huge move on the higher timeframe.,
- Excessively using limit orders when I should be hitting the bid/ask,
I still consider my mental game to be erratic. It's all over the place and needs to drastically smoothen out.
Nate,
